Mains Powered

Mains power smoke alarms must be installed in new properties and any existing properties.

The Brooks alarm we recommend utilises a 10-year rechargeable non-removable Lithium battery back-up does not need to be changed during the life of the unit, ensuring continuous protection. The backup battery condition is continually monitored by the Brooks smoke alarm. This is an ideal solution if you want to eliminate the need to climb up a ladder to change batteries.

Battery Powered

Battery powered smoke alarms may be installed where mains power is not connected to the dwelling or where there is no hidden space to run the necessary wiring for hard wired alarms in an existing dwelling.

Our battery alarms utilise a 10-year, non-removable Lithium battery that does not need to be changed during the life of the unit ensuring continuous protection. This will also remove the need to climb up on ladders to change alarm batteries.
